I was so sorry to read of your loss. Death is truly an enemy just as the Bible says at 1Corinthians 15:26,but we do have a hope of seeing them again in the resurrection that Jesus promised at John 5:28,29. May your family and friends find peace and comfort in these scriptures during this very sad and difficult time.

Dearest Ima Jean. I am not able to be present at your last good-byes today, but you and your family know how much respect and love I have for you all. I've known you since a child when we were neighbors - you and Harpo were always such a blessing! Rest in everlasting peace and I'll see you someday soon! ~Donna

Gib & I would like Aunt Jean's family to know while we are not physically there with you due to work, we are with you emotionally and hope you are taking comfort in wonderful memories.
My Aunt Jean was the type of Aunt that would get up in the middle of the morning and stop everyone of her fourteen Grandfather Clocks so that her Niece Di could finally get some sleep ... only to realize it didn't work since I was suffering from home sickness! And, the amount of time it took her to reset all of those clocks the next day ... and she never complained.
My Aunt Jean was the type of Aunt that even after experiencing a stroke and not well herself, would hop in the car in the middle of the night, along with Jeanell, Jearene, and Brenda, to be by my Mother and Father's side when he was extremely ill. And, she was the first to greet me at my Father's room to let me know the situation and to tell me what needed to be done ... in Aunt Jean speak!
She was always there for me ... with advice, encouragement, fresh eggs and homegrown spinach! During our last visit, she was so happy and expressed her appreciation for Gib's homemade pimento cheese by gently patting him on the cheek ... which caused him to blush ... which caused her to do it again!
We Love You So Much Aunt Jean .... You will always be with Us!
