To Frances, John and Jodi: I'm terribly sorry for your loss. Jerry and I were very close in our younger days, much like brother and sister. I will continue to think of him in this way. I'm sorry I couldn't attend the service or the visitation, but told Donald to convey my condolences. May God bless you in the tender way only He knows how.

Gerald was one of the best friends I ever had. We graduated Hermleigh High School together, fished together and never had a cross word.
Gerald was probably the best person I have ever known, he was honest, trustworthy, kind, caring, helpful and morally straight. I will miss you Gerald.
