To the family. I remember well our time living on Henderson Street in Bridgeport. All of us living and playing together. One 4th of July, Charlie and I and someone else I can't remember, climbed the Water Tower. We threw Cherry Bombs on the cars below. Of course they blew up well before they hit the ground. Then the Cops showed up "You boys get down from there!" . Well the other kid and I climbed down a guider on the other side and left Charlie up there. Never did know how it came out for him. Anyway happy times turn into Happy Memories and I am so sorry for the Family, but I will always remember those times with Joy.

I am so saddened to hear of Charles' death. The Loftis family were friends from childhood as we all came to Bridgeport for our dads to work for Trio Drilling Company. Besides our parents' connection, we all lived near each other, had siblings of the same age (my brother Bill and Charlie are probably off tinkering on some old Ford or Chevy they have stashed away),
My condolences on the death of your dad, granddad, and brother.
