I knew BJ while he was at Wise County and our paths crossed again when I was a paramedic at Regional EMS.
He truly was one of a kind and I know he will be missed.

You are in my prayers during this time.

I met Billy Jack sooooo many years ago while I was a dispatcher for retired Sheriff J.R. Branch. Billy Jack taught me how to properly shoot a handgun and we shot often. He enjoyed the task of teaching shooting techniques and was quite good at it.
I rode with Billy Jack and the late Bill Gage on several occasions while employed as a dispatcher and both were a wealth of knowledge.
I also rode with Billy Jack on several occasions while he had an Azle Ambulance stationed at his home in Boyd.
I have not seen Billy Jack in over 40 years but I still hear his words everytime I go to shoot my pistol on the range about safety and marksmanship.
RIP my good friend!
