Susan Catherine (Cero) Judd

Susan “Susie” (Cero) Judd departed this world Thursday November 18th 2021 from her warm and cozy home in the northern Texas town of New Fairview.
 Born in Menomonee Falls WI in 1950 and raised in Norman, OK, Susie was the eldest of a large family of nine children.

 Relocating to Grapevine Tx in 1972, Susie and many other family members became long-term residents of the area.

 After her years as a substitute teacher, Susie became an active member of the VFW post 5074 auxiliary, proudly fulfilling her role as “conductress” for several years helping to host benefits in support of military veterans and their families. In her spare time, Susie had a great passion for irises, magnolias and her dogs.
 
Known for her quick wit and dry humor, Susie will be remembered as a lively, uncompromising woman who lived life on her own terms.  She was a committed wife to her late husband and loved her children the best way she knew how.  Susie will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Marjorie Cero, and her husband of 35 years, Jimmy R. Judd.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Beth Anderson of Keller, and Becky Anderson of Keller; a step-daughter, Melissa Abernathy of Cleburne; her son, Jeremy Judd of Portland, Oregon; 4 brothers, Gary Cero, Casey Cero, George Cero, and John Cero; 4 sisters, Cecilia Wolf, Rosie Scaff, Angie Cero, and Cassie Diles; numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
