My dad was raised on the farm next to the Beagles, so I have known them all my life. Berylene and I were about the same age, so we went to Sunday School together as kids and Bible College together as young adults. I am shocked to hear of her passing so soon. She was a friend to all who got to know her and will certainly be missed. Our prayers go up to God for her family.

Nothing quite compares to the love of a Spouse or for children or grandchildren, the loss of their Mother. We want you each to know that we are thinking about you during this tender time and send our love.

I loved the Beagles!  I came to know them when my parents pastored the Apostolic Faith Church in Arnett, Oklahoma. Spent a lot of time visiting on the farm and dairy. Especially close o Berylene and Quineta because we were the same age. Berylene was such a cute, warm, quiet girl and I especially loved her.  May God richly bless the memory of Nyla Berylene Bragle Steed!!!

Always smiling, friendly, and welcoming, there was nothing insincere about Mrs. Steed.  I appreciated her spirit and example.  My condolences to you Mr. Steed.  The loss is great, but the hope is greater.  And thank you as well.

I was saddened and shocked to hear of Nyla’s death. It’s surreal to me as I’m sure it is with her family. She was an eccentric lady to say the least. I only got to know Nyla several years ago but I’ve had the opportunity to visit with her many times. We have laughed so much and I heard about her children and grandchildren and how proud she was of them. Raleigh you were amazing with her and I hate that I didn’t get to see you much anymore. Nyla and I had talked about coming out and enjoying some of the hobbies she enjoyed but never got the opportunity. She loved Raleigh and her family and will be missed. Prayers for you all.
