Linda Sue "MeMe" Grill

Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 15th, 2021 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport followed by burial in East Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Rev. Jack Mc Casey will officiate. Pallbearers are to include Jimmy Van Hoose, L.C. Morrow, Melvin Pewitt, Marvin McDaniel, Butch Bridges, and Lee Mitchum. Honorary Pallbearers are Jerry Morrow, Kenny Morrow and Bryan Davis.

Linda was born on February 10, 1947 to Raymond and Maxine “Morrow” Bird in Jacksboro, Texas. Linda was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her family. She was united in marriage to Charlie Grill, Jr. on June 16, 1966 in Chico, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; her parents; and her husband, Charlie Grill, Jr.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Jariece Davis of Chico; her grandchildren, Clint Davis and wife Crystal, Taylor Davis and wife Amber, Ashley Davis, and Dustin Davis and wife Tessa; her great-grandchildren, Dylan, Azia, Eli, Lacey, Hayden, Kayden, Hunter, Braxton, and Bristol; her great-great-grandchildren, Fable, Rowen, Able, Jhett, and Charlie; numerous extended family members, and a host of friends.
