Bridget was born February 27, 1951 in Manchester England to Michael and Mary (Philbin) Kenny. She was known as Tess to her family. She was funny, mischievous and caring. As a young girl she often helped her older sisters with child care and all her nephews and nieces loved her, she was a lot of fun to them all. At age 18 she started nursing at Withington Hospital, she earned her Associates Degree in nursing and retired from the Boyd I.S.D. as the school nurse. She often made trips back to England and Ireland to visit her family whom she loved dearly. She was a doting grandmother to her granddaughter, Ava. Bridget was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Boyd for many years. She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many who will miss her dearly.
