Rhome ~ Betty Sue Caldwell, 77, went to be with our Lord Monday, January 11, 2021 in Decatur, Texas.
Graveside Service is 11:00 a.m. Wednesday. January 13, 2021 at Aurora Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, January 12, at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
Betty was born August 1, 1943 to Leland and Robbie (Wyatt) Hedrick in Midland, Texas. She was united in marriage June 18, 1988 to Warren “Buck” Caldwell in Rhome, Texas. Betty was a retired nurse having worked many years at Colombia Plaza Medical Center. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Boyd, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Pocket Stokes; her brother, Bob Hedrick; and good friend, Raymond Dickey.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her step-children, Eleanor Reynolds and husband Ed, Mike Stokes and wife Annette, and Bob Stokes and wife Tammi; her grandchildren Kelly, Anessa, Dillon, Laurie, Cody, and Raney; her great-grandchildren, Avery, Elizabeth, and Caitie; her niece, Carol Williamson of Knickerbocker; great-niece, Ollie Schneeman and husband Cade of Iraan, her great-great-nieces, Prather and Carter; her great-great-nephew, Kwentan Williamson and wife Skylar of Midland, and Loni Kate; her sister-in-law, Fran Hedrick of San Angelo; Special thanks to Solaris Hospice and Right at Home-Home Care and her wonderful care givers, also her neighbors and friends for their love and care.
