ARLINGTON -- Zelma Mae Simmons, 87, of Arlington formerly of Boyd, died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2006, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday in Christian-Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Burial: Boyd Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
Memorials: Universal Health Services Hospice or American Diabetes Association.
Zelma was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Simmons; her two sons, Max and Danny Simmons; her brothers, Doyle and Cecil Howard; and her sister, Elizabeth Ann Clement.
Survivors: Sons, Joe Simmons and wife, Janis of Oklahoma City, Michael Simmons and wife, Kathy of Leveland, and Monty Simmons of Burleson; daughters, Nina Spann of Arlington and Karen Larsen and husband, Chris of Morgantown, Kentucky; 16 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be: Joe Simmons, Michael Simmons, Monty Simmons, Max Simmons, Adrian Simmons, and Richard Beauchamp.
