Yolanda S. (Reyes) Colon

Decatur ~ Yolanda S. Colon, 71, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, March 28, 2018 in Decatur.

Visitation is 9 am to 12 pm Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Yolanda was born on November 16, 1946 to Eduardo and Maria (Rivera) Reyes in Puerto Rico. She was united in marriage to Melvin Colon - Soto on June 7, 1968 in Puerto Rico. Yolanda retired from Department of Defense as an Analyst.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 49 years, Melvin Colon – Soto of Decatur; her daughter, Jessica Marie Bornhauser and husband Jason of California; her son, Melvin Colon Santiago and wife Ronnie of Boston, Massachusetts; her grandchildren, Elisha, Miguel, Elizabeth, Victoria, Eliana, and Jericho; and a host of friends.
