W.R. "Bob" Clemans

Paradise~ W.R. “Bob” Clemans, 73, of Paradise, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 in Decatur.

Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 28, 2020 at Decatur Church of Christ with burial to follow in Cottondale Cemetery. Family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Brother Rick Ross will officiate.

Bob was born on March 18, 1947 to Charles and Opal (Carter) Clemans.  He graduated from Tarleton State University. Bob was a longtime rancher and cattleman in Paradise. Bob had a servant’s heart and never met a stranger. If you were looking for him, he wasn’t hard to find. Bob was either at church, a grandkid’s ballgame, at the local café for a late lunch or driving the tractor up and down Hwy 114. He will be missed dearly by all of his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Opal Clemans.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his son, Jason Clemans and wife Christina of Paradise; his daughter, Jodi Messenger and husband Tommy of Paradise; his 4 grandchildren, Katelyn Clemans, Carolyn Clemans, Jana Messenger, and Andrew Messenger; his cousins, David Clemans, Brenda Miller, Laura McGibney, Rebecca Hautman, and Joe Crownover; and his good friends and neighbors.

In lieu of flowers if so inclined you may make a donation to honor Bob to the Decatur Church of Christ or if you prefer bales of hay as Bob would really like that.  :)
