Bridgeport ~ June Lewis, 83, a music teacher, went to be with our Lord Friday, December 5, 2014 in Wichita Falls.
Graveside service is 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 8, 2014 at East Bridgeport Cemetery. No visitation.
Dr. David Burrows will officiate.
June was born on July 26, 1931 to Robin and Vadie (Lovan) Mitchell in Hopkins County, Kentucky. She was a music teacher at Bridgeport ISD for 10 years and at Carthage ISD for 29 years. June was a member of the First Baptist Church since 1989 and a member of Delta Kappa Gamma in Carthage.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Lucille Morrow; her brother, W.D. Mitchell; and her grandson, Preston Allums.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Lisa Hudman and husband Mel of Graham, Texas and Lori Allums and husband Chuck of Rowlett, Texas; her grandkids, Steve Hudman and wife Kelly, Joe Hudman and wife Melissa, Melisa Synder and husband Tristan; her great grandkids, Bret Hudman, Baleigh Hudman, Brice Hudman, Brock Hudman, Zoe Hudman, and Zoyla Hudman; other family members and a host of friends.
