William "Price" Everett

Bridgeport~ William “Price” Everett, 93, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, November 15, 2020 in Decatur.

Graveside Service is 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at East Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport.

Price was born on October 5, 1927 to William Taylor and Fannie Mae (Finley) Everett in Bryan County, Oklahoma. He was united in marriage to Imogene Harris on May 15, 1948 in Durant, Oklahoma. Price was a veteran and served our country in The United States Army. He retired from Mitchell Energy as the gas plant manager after 36 years of service. Price was a member of the Bridgeport Masonic Lodge, The Scottish Rite 32°, and a longtime member of The First Baptist Church of Bridgeport.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his two sisters, Pauline Thomas and Clarine Wainscott.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 72 years, Imogene Everett of Bridgeport; his daughter, Diana Everett and Rozie McCabe of San Angelo; his son, Gary Everett and wife Terry of Bridgeport; his two grandchildren, Taylor Everett and wife Amber of Bridgeport, and Jordan Everett and Brianna Rivera of Krum; and one great-grandson, Wyatt Blake Everett.
