William "Bill" Lee Thomason

William Lee “Bill” Thomason, of Arlington, formally of Azle and San Antonio, died Saturday, December 15, 2018.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at Northwest Christian Church in Arlington, Texas.  Graveside services will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Boyd Cemetery, Boyd, Texas.

Rev. Ron Branstetter will officiate.  Great nieces and nephews will be honorary pallbearers.

Bill was born January 14, 1928, to William Aron and Annie Lee Thomason in Spur, Texas. He was a salesman for 40 years with William Cameron Building Supply. Bill proudly served in the United States Army for three years during the occupation of Germany following World War II.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather, Raymond Whitford; his brothers, Clint and Gene Thomason, and Paul Whitford.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Mcajo Thomason Pool, and Phyllis Curtis and husband Ernest; his sister-in-law, Syble Thomason; his nieces, Sherri Culbreath and Teresa Pool; his nephews, Ray Pool III and wife Jayne, Ron Thomason and wife Corinne, and Eric Thomason and wife Robin; and a host of family and friends.
