RHOME -- Billy Mills, 47, a construction worker passed gently into the arms of Jesus on Thursday , May 21, 2009 in Decatur. Funeral: 2 p.m. Sunday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Burial: Aurora Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday. Rev. David E. Mills will officiate. Pallbearers: Bobby Mills, Tim Mills, Ronnie Mills, Halston Mills, Randy Thompson, and Don Richards . Honorary Pallbearers: Rodney File and Randall Thompson.
Billy was born on October 10, 1961, the son of Ervin and Pauline (Richards) Mills in Indio, California.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: W.O. and Gracie Mills, Robert and Bessie Richards; his father, Ervin Mills; his niece, Jenna Mills; and a cousin, Kari Sue Scott.
Left behind to cherish his memory is: Mother, Polly Ferguson of Comanche, Oklahoma; sister, Donna Bond of Comanche, Oklahoma; brothers, David Mills and wife Kerry of Rhome, Bobby Mills and wife Aundrea of Haltom City, Tim Mills of Comanche, Oklahoma; nephews, Steven Bond, Travis Bond and wife Cassie, Nathan Bond, Ronnie Mills and wife Tiffany, Halston Mills, Tanner Mills; nieces, Ronette Stewart and husband Scottlan, Tara Mills; great nephew, Daemon Bond; great nieces, Kaili Mills, Skyler Stewart; Numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
