DECATUR -- William P. Holland, Jr., 80, a farmer, died Tuesday, May 15, 2007 in Watauga, Texas. He was a proud veteran, Lions Club Member, and considered Decatur High School's number one fan.
Funeral was held 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 18, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church in Decatur with Dr. Thomas Brumett officiating. Burial: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2007 at Earth Cemetery in Earth, Texas. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
Memorials: Can be made to the American Cancer Society of Wise County and The First United Methodist Church in Decatur.
Survivors include a Son: Craig Holland and wife Linda; 2 Daughters: Debbie Rife and husband Howard and Pam Holland; Sister: Joyce Brantley; 4 Grandsons; 1 Great Grand Daughter; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian B. Holland; parents, William Prentice, Sr. and Alma Dean Grissom Holland.
