William Jerry Deal

William Jerry Deal, 75, of Richland Hills, passed from this earth Tuesday, August 4, 2026 in Arlington, Texas.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 8th at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur with burial at Alvord Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Fred Raney will officiate. Pallbearers include Gaylon Rice, Darrell Rice, Russell Rice, Matt McDaniel, Declan McDaniel, and Brandon Dominguez. Honorary pallbearers include Thomas Asomani and Braylon Dominguez.

Military Honors provided by the Wise County Veterans Group.

William was born August 22, 1950 to Hinton and Lillian (York) Deal in Phoenix City, Alabama. He was united in marriage March 22, 2008 to Kimberly Rice in North Richland Hills. William was a retired Navy Chief, he proudly served our country over 20 years. He was also a Police Chief for the city of Maypearl, Texas. William belonged to the American Legion Post 14. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Kimberly Deal; his daughters, Valerie McDaniel and husband Matt, Veronica Taylor, and Victoria Dominguez and husband Brandon, Jocey Asomani and husband Thomas, Katie Cochran and husband Tony; his grandsons, Declan, Kellen McDaniel and wife Lydia, Paxton McDaniel, Jaxson Cummins, Jonathan Taylor, Braylon and Bryant Dominguez, Nathan Asomani, and Dallas Cochran; his granddaughters, Londyn McDaniel, Violet Dominguez, and Maggie Cochran; nephews, nieces, extended family and a host of friends.
