Wendy was born on January 12, 1966 to Robert and Marlena (Shinn) Huckabay in Sacramento, California. She was united to Jonnie Holifield on December 29, 2013 in Decatur, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ashley Wass; and her mother.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Jonnie Holifield of Rhome; her father, Robert Huckabay and wife Darlene of Michigan; her sister, Sue Nix and husband Cameron of Lewisville; her son, Edward Wass and wife Ashley of Michigan; her step-sons, David Holifield, and John Holifield and wife Jamie; her grandchildren, Alana, Dante, Micah, Kayla, Kaiden, and Payton; and a host of friends.
