Wayne Niblett

Paradise ~ Wayne Niblett, 79, went to be with our Lord Saturday, January 27, 2018 in Decatur.

Funeral is 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Grace Fellowship Church with burial in Paradise Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Grace Fellowship Church in Paradise.

Gilbert Horton will officiate. Pallbearers include Danny Randolph, Carey Williams, Raymond Wood, Rusty Ford, Richard Flynt, and James Wood. Honorary pallbearers are The Deer Hunters, and Finish Line Friends.

Wayne was born on January 1, 1939 to Carlton Taylor and Magella (Elam) Niblett in Bridgeport, Texas. He was united in marriage to Clara Ruth Ferguson on October 15, 1960 in Fort Worth. Wayne worked at Burrus Feed Mill and Continental State Bank. He later worked for James Wood where he retired after 30 plus years. Wayne loved deer hunting. He was a member of the Flatwood Baptist Church. Wayne served his country in the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Lonnie Niblett, and Richard “Richie” Niblett; his sister, Carlene Morehead.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 57 years, Clara Niblett of Paradise; his son, Kevin Niblett of Desoto; his daughter, Kristi Force of Paradise; his granddaughter, Brooklyn Force of Paradise; his brother, Don Niblett and wife Earlene of Decatur; his sister, Bobbi Badger and husband Ed of Decatur, Ann Jones and husband Roy of Paradise, Kathy Horton and husband Homer of Paradise; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, and a host of friends.
