BOYD -- Wanna V. Rutherford, 77, a retired assembly line worker for Volkswagen, went to be with our Lord on Monday, Nov. 17, 2008 in Decatur.
Graveside service: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Pleasant Grove Cemetery #2. Family will receive friends: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Rev. Mark Jones will officiate. Pallbearers: Kenny Smith, Jimbo Smith, Bubba Smith, Jeff McGuire, Johnny McGuire, and Shane Starnes.
Wanna was born on August 24, 1931, the daughter of Warner A. and Loretta (Cobb) Inman in Boyd.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Hardee Rutherford, her parents, brother, Doyle Inman and sister, Shirley Smith.
Left to cherish her memory: daughters: Penny Best and husband Rusty of Kingston, Oklahoma, Karen Long of Boyd, Shawnda Faust and husband Tony of Boyd; Grandchildren: Jacklyn, Tiffany, Skylar, Jordan, Jacob, Karson, John, and Sherry; 5 Great Grandchildren; Declan, Raeann, Tory, Karie, and Kaitlynn; numerous relatives and a host of friends.
