Wanda Carolyn Wolf, 84, of Decatur passed from this earth Saturday, June 27th, 2026 surrounded by loved ones.

Funeral is 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 2nd at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Jake Hooker will officiate. Pallbearers include Brandon Wolf, Randal Wolf, Robert Wolf, Jr., Scott Wolf, Matthew Cain, and Justin Beamis.

Carolyn was born July 28th, 1941 to Rufus Pershing “RP” and Addie Ruth (Martin) Cain in Lubbock, Texas. She was united in marriage January 28th, 1961 to James Franklin Wolf in Ft. Worth, Texas. Carolyn was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, “RP” and Addie Ruth Cain; 2 sons, Robert Wolf, Sr. and Jeffry Wolf; a granddaughter, Martie Wolf; 1 brother, Jimmy Cain.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 65 years, Jim Wolf of Decatur; her sons, Steve Wolf and wife Candice of Decatur, and Bryan Wolf of Decatur; her daughter, Karen Brazeau and husband Sammy of Decatur; her grandchildren, Brandon Wolf, Jessica Wolf Bennett, Randal Wolf, Robert Wolf, Jr., Katelyn Wolf, and Peyton Wade; her great-grandchildren, Morgan and Maise Bennett; her brother, Kenny Cain and wife Mary of Krum; her sisters, Patti Bowers of Decatur, Phyllis Bobo and husband Paul of White House, and Paula Beamis and husband Scott of Athens; extended family and a host of friends.
