Grapevine ~ Wanda Kay Caraway Snow, 67, an insurance agent, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, July 9, 2014 in Dallas.
Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Jim Ned Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Pastor Mark Webb will officiate. Pallbearers include Randy Gilbert, James Gilbert, John Caraway, Corky McDaniel, Austin Poole, and Gary Gilbert. Honorary pallbearers are Harold Bays and Clyde Matney.
Wanda was born on August 23, 1946 to Willie and Kathryn (Warren) Caraway in Bridgeport. She was an insurance agent for American National Insurance.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; her great-granddaughter, Aniya Sweat; her sister, Jean O’Dell; and her brother, Earl Caraway.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Lisa Coleman and fiancée Frank Good of Jacksonville, Florida, Starla Gilbert and husband Tim of Justin; her grandchildren, Freddie Coleman III, Alecia Sweat, Kaela Coleman, James Gilbert, and Katie Gilbert; her great-grandchildren, Leigh Boatright, Freddie Coleman IV, and Peyton Sweat; her brother, John Caraway and wife Kelia of Bowie; her sister, Helen Russell of Grapevine; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
