Walter Sanford Jones

Walter S. Jones, 62, of Rhome passed from this earth Monday, February 16, 2026 in Decatur, Texas.

Walter was born June 13, 1963 to William and Eva Fay (Hughes) Jones in Ft. Worth, Texas. He was a beloved father who will be missed greatly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Eva Fay (Jones) Britton; his brother Chris Hughes; and two grandchildren, Alex and April.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lisa Sigman; his son, Scott Jones of Rhome; his daughter, Angela Jones of Georgia; his step-daughter, Heather Olsen and husband Richard; his grandchildren, Brandon Jones and his wife Ashlyn, Elizabeth Hanson, Hannah and Luna; and great-grand-daughter, Embersyn Jones; extended family and a host of friends.
