RUNAWAY BAY -- Wallace John (Jack) Lord, 82, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2007, at his home in Runaway Bay.
Memorial service: 1 p.m. Thurday in D/FW National Cemetery.
Jack was born on Dec. 27, 1924, in Waupaca, Wis., to George Hubert Lord Sr. and Catherine Lee Wilson. He was the fifth of six children. After 20 years of dedicated service to the U.S. Air Force, Jack retired to Texas where he indulged in his passion for guns, hunting and fishing. He was an avid outdoorsman who willingly shared his passions with all he encountered. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jacqueline; his parents; and his brothers, George W. Stratton, Robert L. Lord and David C. Lord.
Survivors: Sisters, Patricia DeBoer of Carrollton and Dorothy Argue of Bellingham, Wash.; and many nieces and nephews.
