Virginia Elaine (Belew) Winstone

Decatur ~ Virginia Elaine Winstone, 95, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, February 14, 2023.

Graveside Service is 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Chaplain Phillip Weitner will officiate. Honorary Pallbearers are grandsons, Gary Vanbebber, James Vanbebber, and Bobby Williams, great-grandsons, Dakota Vanbebber, Kyle Tabor, Gary Vanbebber, Jr. and Josh Vanbebber.

Virginia was born August 30, 1927 to Rueben and Clara (Patterson) Belew in Bowie, Texas. She was united in marriage in the late 70’s to Raymond Winstone in Dallas, Texas. Virginia was a graduate of Bowie High School and a member of the Eastern Star. She was a beloved mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Winstone; and sons, Roy, Danny, and Ernest Woolf.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Judy Young of Decatur and Beverly Neal and Bill Baker of Gainesville; her grandsons, James Vanbebber of Commerce, Gary and Angela Vanbebber of Gainesville; granddaughters, Debra Tabor and Bobby Williams of Carrollton, and Jessica Shackelford of Woodland Park, Colorado; 8 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; extended family members and a host of friends.
