Decatur ~ Virginia Lea Kline, 84, a retired medical records administrator, went to be with our Lord Friday, March 27, 2015 in Dallas.
Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at First United Methodist Church in Decatur with burial in Roselawn Cemetery in Denton. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
Rev. Brian Bosworth and Zack Landis will officiate.
Virginia was born on September 16, 1930 to Tom and Jennie (Bowers) Champion in Houston. She was united in marriage to Jack Kline on June 3, 1950 in Decatur. Virginia graduated from TWU and upon her graduation she was employed by TWU. She worked for Bristol General Hospital in Dallas. Virginia worked for the Denton State School for 20 years before her retirement. She was a volunteer with the Ladies Auxiliary at Wise Regional Health Systems in Decatur. Virginia was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Decatur.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Kline Sr..
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Michael Jack Kline and wife Gail of Lewisville, Jack Kline Jr. and wife Bonnie of Sanger, James Timothy Kline and wife Marlene of Keller; her sister, Charlene Cooper of Fort Worth; 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; her daughter-in-law, GiGi Dacus; other family members and a host of friends.
