Paradise ~ Virgie D. Potts, 90, a clerk, went to be with our Lord Thursday, August 13, 2015 in Fort Worth.
Graveside service is 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 17, 2015 at Paradise Cemetery. Family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pastor David Kelly will officiate.
Virgie was born on May 3, 1925 to Hurman and Nellie Wilcoxson in Dublin, Texas. She retired from Lockheed Martin after 42 years. Virgie was united in marriage to Paul Ray Potts on June 28, 1946 in Fort Worth. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Paradise.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul Ray Potts; and her sister, Margaret Armstrong.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Paul M. Potts of Paradise; her granddaughter, Karen Potts of Webster, New York; other family members, and a host of friends.
