Boyd ~ Vergie (Crownover) Williams, 99, a beauty operator, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, January 20, 2015 in Decatur.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Vergie was born on September 15, 1915, to John and Vonnie (Agnew) Steel in Rising Star, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry Williams; her son, Jacky Crownover; her granddaughter, Kara Crownover; one sister and seven brothers.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Billy Charles Crownover and wife Linda of Bossier City, Louisana, and Jerry Crownover and wife, Ruth of Bentonville, Arkansas; her daughter, Nelda Wilson of Boyd; her grandchildren, Joshua, Jeff, Shelley, Holly, and Jason; 12 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
