Truman Elizabeth Whittington

Truman Elizabeth Whittington, 91, of Decatur went to be with her Lord, Friday, May 23rd, 2025.

Truman was born April 20th, 1934 to Orval and Vera (Rhine) Walker in Decatur, Texas. She was united in marriage May 30th, 1964 to Gary Leon Whittington in Wichita, Kansas. Truman was a Decatur High School graduate, retiring after being a bank teller for many years. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kim Nugent and Delores Whittington, and son-in-law, Reginald Rowe; her son, Arin Whittington and wife Jennifer; grandchildren, Devin Nugent, Jerod Nugent, Peyton Nugent and her fiance Zackary Boudreaux, and Adam Whittington; great-grandchild, Collins Camille Nugent; daughter-in-law, Millie Nugent; nephews, David Wilson and wife Becky, Login Wilson, Ricky Wilson, Randy Wilson and wife Melissa, and Wendal Bridges; extended family and a host of friends.
