Paradise ~ Troy Charles DoByns, 68, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, February 10, 2021 in Decatur, Texas

Memorial Service is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Brett Schizler will officiate.

Troy was born May 3, 1952 to Charles Leroy and Betty Elizabeth (Rich) DoByns in Ft. Scott, Kansas. He was united in marriage June 15, 1979 to Mary Alice Isom in Ft.Worth, Texas.

Troy was a machinist/transmission assembler for over 34 years with Bell Helicopter. He served with the Cottondale and Haslet Volunteer Fire Department for over 10 years.

He was preceded in death by his Dad, Charles Leroy DoByns.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mary DoByns of Paradise; his mother, Betty DoByns of Ft. Scott, Kansas; his daughter, Mary Stapleton of Paradise; his sons, Shandon Fullingim and wife Diane of Decatur, Kenny Pryor and wife Trina of Alvord, Dustin DoByns and wife Stacy of North Richland Hills, and Brad DoByns and wife Kayla of Richland Hills; his brother Terry DoByns of Columbus, Kansas; his 10 grandchildren; extended family members and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Cottondale Volunteer Fire Department would be greatly appreciated.
