Tommy Joe Taylor

Bridgeport~ Tommy Joe Taylor, 68, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, January 15, 2022 in Decatur.

Service will be held at a later date to honor Tommy.

Tommy was born on March 20, 1953 to John and Elizabeth (Gober) Taylor in Blewitt, Texas. Tommy was a rock truck driver for many years. He was united in marriage to Diana Lynn (Silletti) Taylor on May 27, 1993 in San Antonio, Texas. Tommy was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be missed by all that knew and loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Albert Taylor and Robert Taylor; his sisters, Betty Mason and Mary Katherine Love.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Diana Silletti Taylor of Bridgeport; his son, John M. Taylor of Bridgeport; his daughter, Angie Taylor Barron of Ft. Worth; his grandchildren, Hailey Barron and Ashley Barron; his brothers, Chock Taylor and wife Deana of Decatur, Jimmy Taylor and wife Kitty of Perrin, Kenneth Taylor of Perrin, and Ricky Taylor of Denton; his sisters, Suzy Hillard of Krum and Dorothy Nash of Corpus Christi; numerous extended family members, and a host of friends.
