Tommy Carl Pendergrass

Bridgeport ~ Tommy Carl Pendergrass, 84, went home to be with our Lord Sunday, November 16, 2025 in Jacksboro.

Funeral Service is 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 21st, at Balsora Baptist Church with burial at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, November 22nd, at Quail Cemetery in Quail, Texas.

Tommy was born on April 23, 1941 to A.C. and Gwinnie (Long) Pendergrass in Wellington, Texas. He was united in marriage to Betty J. Myers on September 27, 2009 in Bridgeport. Tommy was a skilled pilot, adept at navigating various aircraft through the skies. In addition to his flying expertise, he was a talented fabricator, expertly crafting components and structures with precision and care. His engineering background allowed him to work for a variety of companies, where he applied his diverse skills to solve complex challenges and contribute to innovative projects. He was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and a friend to many that will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty Pendergrass; his sisters, Melba Nunnelley, Maude Minyard, and Dorothy Parker.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his son, Carl Pendergrass; his grandchildren, Caitlynn Giles and her husband Michael, Garrett Pendergrass, and Dalton Pendergrass; his great-grandchildren, Adison and Claire Giles; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
