Tommy Mack was born on September 17, 1948 in El Paso, Texas, the son of William and Mittie (Pullman) Atkins.

Tommy Mack served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era.
Left behind to cherish his memory are: sons, Josh Atkins and wife Deserrae of Paradise, Tommy Atkins and wife Angie of Fort Worth; daughters, Angie Woods of Reno, Texas, Kathy Seaton of Fort Worth, Kelly Cunningham of Granbury, and Julie White of Reno, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
