Tobi Warner Moss, Jr.

December 22, 2000 — August 5, 2025

Decatur

Tobi Warner Moss, Jr., a beloved son, fiancé, soon to be father, brother, and friend, was born on December 22, 2000, in Decatur, Texas, and tragically left us too soon on August 5, 2025, in Temple, Texas. He was a bright light in the lives of all who knew him, embodying a spirit that was fun-loving, funny, caring, and truly full of personality. Tobi's laughter and sense of humor resonated with his family and friends, leaving them with cherished memories that will forever bring smiles even in their sorrow.

He attended Chico High School and pursued a fulfilling career as a Fiber Optic Electrician at I.E.S. Communication, he embraced life with a boundless zest, enjoying moments spent fishing, riding motorcycles, and sharing drinks with friends. His greatest joy came from spending quality time with his siblings and family—connections that were deeply cherished and will continue to echo in the hearts of those left behind. Anyone who crossed paths with Tobi knows that his laughter was infectious, and his happiness was a gift that he generously shared with the world.

Tobi is survived by his loving mother, April Smith and Jerry Bowman; his devoted fiancée, Dailyn Koger and their soon to arrive baby; his brothers Brayden Blue, Corbin Smith, Jacob Moss, and Shia Smith; his sister Savannah Moss; and his step-brother Dylan Castleberry. The love extended to his uncle’s Joshua Hendrix and Sattin, Clayton Hendrix and Hannah, and aunts Sonia Thompson and Tyrone, Samantha Mares and Alberto, Shannon McCann, and Kelley Wells and Nathan. Additionally, he is survived by his great-aunt, Sarah Moss, and his beloved grandmother, Debbie "Ninnie" Moss. Tobi was a brother, son, nephew, and fiancé that many admired; his warmth and kind spirit were a constant source of support and love.

The loss of Tobi is felt deeply not only by his family but also by an extensive circle of friends who remember him with fondness and gratitude. His essence will live on in the stories shared, the laughter fostered, and the love that remains in the hearts of those he touched.

He is preceded in death by his father, Tobi Warner Moss, his great-grandparents, Emory and Litha, and his sister, Constance Rory; whose presence will forever be felt in the bonds of love passed down through their family.

Tobi's visitation will be held on August 10, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport, Texas. A funeral service will take place the following day on August 11, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at New Hope Fellowship in Decatur with burial to follow at Tucker Cemetery in Chico. In these moments, family and friends will gather to share their memories, celebrate a remarkable life, and find solace in each other's company.

Though his time on this earth was far too brief, Tobi Warner Moss, Jr. will forever hold a special place in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His laughter, kindness, and unwavering spirit will remain etched in their memories—an enduring testament to a life that, although tragically cut short, was filled with joy, love, and connection.
