Runaway Bay ~ “T.J.” Tyler James Cole, 21, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, January 13, 2026 in Runaway Bay.

Funeral Service is 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 17th, at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport with burial at Chico Cemetery. Family will receive friends and family from 10:00 a.m.– 12:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

T.J. was born on April 4, 2004 to B.J. Cole and Heather (Vogeler) Wortman in Chanute, Kansas. He was a loving, caring, funny, gentle giant; his family and friends were his life. T.J. loved playing his Xbox and taking his mom's car for joyrides. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and a friend to many that will miss him dearly.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his mother, Heather Wortman of Runaway Bay; his siblings, Brandon Ragland, Tylissa Ragland, and Jonathon Cole; his niece and nephews, Milo Samuel, Aspen Samuel, and Cameron Ragland; numerous other relatives and a large host of friends.
