Tina Rene Cook

Paradise ~ Tina Rene Cook, 61, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, August 2, 2026, in Dallas.

Graveside Service is at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 8th, at Paradise Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Pallbearers are Colton McCormick, Stahlman Remmele, Chris Holt, Klayton Canova, Chase Saunders, and Andrew Hill. 

Tina was born on July 31, 1965, to David Kirk and Ether Lorene (Keith) Hilscher in Mansfield. She was united in marriage to Marvin Kyle Cook on May 24, 1991, in Paradise. Tina devoted many years to teaching at Paradise Independent School District (ISD), making a lasting impact on her students and the community. Her commitment and passion for education truly inspired those around her. She spent her life on the farm, raising Duroc pigs and longhorn cattle. She also enjoyed tending to her garden. Tina was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 35 years, Kyle Cook of Paradise; her son, Lucas Cook and his wife, Alissa of Springtown; her daughter, Molly Cook of Skiatook, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Lane and Parker Cook; her brother, David Hilscher, Jr. of Baird; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and a host of friends.
