Boyd ~ Thomas Lee Wilson, 77, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, June 28, 2022 in Boyd.

Funeral is 10:30 AM Wednesday, July 6, at First Baptist Church in Boyd with burial to follow in Boyd Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 PM Tuesday, July 5, at the church.

Rev. Mark Autry will officiate. Pallbearers are Colten Wilson, Lane Wilson, Cole Wilson, Rudy Wilson, Chris Holt, Jarret Holt, Brandon Richardson, and Brice Richardson. Honorary pallbearers include Steve Pitts, Jeremy Goodger, Kenny Shepherd, Ken Steel, Andy Seay, Coy Cleveland, and Don Wilson.

Thomas was born on July 1, 1944 to Thomas Jefferson and Frances (Bivens) Wilson in Bridgeport. He was united in marriage to Margaret Ann O’Dell on July 19, 1967 in Boyd. Thomas was a beloved husband, father, brother-in-law, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and 2 sisters, Gloria Bedford and Treva Wilson.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 55 years, Margie Wilson of Boyd; his children, Thomas Brent Wilson and wife Amber of Boyd, Sheri Richardson and husband Scott of Paradise, Teri Holt and husband Dale of Paradise,  and Brian Wilson of Boyd; 14 grandchildren, Chris Holt, Heather Wharton and husband Brady, Brandon Richardson and wife Brandi, Jarret Holt and wife Abby, Marni Prater and husband Tanner, Tori Wilson, Brice Richardson, Lane Wilson, Brionna Wilson, Colten Wilson, Cole Wilson, Andi Wilson, Rudy Wilson, and Jordan Ortega; 4 great-grandchildren, Jace, Brayson, Ryder, and Addi; his brother-in-law, Melvin Bedford; other relatives and a host of friends.
