Thomas Henry Lambert

Funeral service is 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 24th at the First Baptist Church in Boyd with Reverend Mark Autry officiating. Interment: Pleasant Grove Cemtery No. 1. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Boyd.

Pallbearers include, Aaron Lambert, Derek Lambert, Adam Lambert, J.R. Lambert, Thomas Lambert, J. C. Lambert, Stuart Ferguson, and Terry Witherspoon.

Honorary pallbearers include Chuck Lambert, Jim Lambert, Tommy Lambert, David Lambert, Mike Lambert, Steve Lambert, Tim Lambert, Ricky Thornton and Mike Martin.

T.H. was born October 12, 1932 in Decatur, Texas to Tom and Ida (Smith) Lambert. He married Dorothy Meador on December 20, 1952 in Decatur. T.H. served in the United States Army and was a deacon at the First Baptist Church in Boyd.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 59 years, Dorothy Lambert; two sons, John Lambert and wife, Shelia, Danny Lambert and wife, Susan all of Boyd; nine grandchildren, Jenniffer, J.C., Aaron, Derek, Adam, Shasta, J.R., Lavada and Thomas; 13 great grandchildren, Emily, Zane, Sovay, Wyatt, Eli, Cason, Brooklynn, Jayden, Lexi, Noel, Mark, Ella and Addilynne; two brothers, Paul and William "PeeWee" Lambert both of Boyd; sister, Dorothy Mae Gray of Newark; daughter-in-law, Betty Lambert of Boyd; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

T.H. is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, John and Gilbert Lambert; daughter, Linda Lisby of Boyd; son, Mark Henry Lambert of Boyd and grandson, Clay Lisby of Boyd.
