Theo Marie (Morris) Wilson

Chico ~ Theo Marie Wilson, 96, went to be with our Lord Thursday, August 13, 2020 in Decatur.

Graveside Service is 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Theo was born February 28, 1924 to Hilary Marvin and Amy May (Askey) Morris in Decatur, Texas. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from North Texas University. Theo was united in marriage December 19, 1949 to Charles Orville Wilson in Decatur, Texas. She was a retired egg farmer and was a member of First Baptist Church of Decatur for over 50 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hilary and Amy Morris; her husband of 51 years, Charles Orville Wilson; her son, Charles Morris Wilson; and her daughter-in-law, Julia Cox Wilson.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Kenneth Lynn Wilson of Chico; her 2 grandsons, James Cody South and wife Heather of Chico, and Joey South and wife Gingi of Wizard Wells; her granddaughter, Jennifer Haney of Ft. Worth; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; numerous extended family and a host of friends.
