Terry D. Fisher

Paradise ~ Terry Doyle Fisher, 63, went to be with our Lord Saturday, March 10, 2018 in Decatur.

Memorial  Going Home service is 10:30 a.m. Saturday March 24, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Paradise.

Terry was born on August 8, 1954 to Doyle and Virginia (Johnson) Fisher in Alta Loma, Texas. He was united in marriage to Kathy Rester on April 3, 1976 in Bacliff, Texas. Terry retired from TDCJ as a plant manager in 2000. He was a member of Paradise First Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He enjoyed spending time with his grandbabies as well as his nieces and nephews. Terry was an avid salt water fisherman, where he enjoyed being in salt water fishing rodeos with his TDCJ buddies. He always had a good ole fishing story to tell to his buddies as well as life stories and funny quotes for those he met he never met a stranger. Terry loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his mother in law, Ruth Rester.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 41 years, Kathy Fisher of Paradise; his son, Will “Billy” and wife April of Bridgeport; his grandchildren, Graycen Felts, Marshal Fisher, Caeden Fisher, and McKenna Fisher; his brother, Aaron Fisher and wife Brenda of Huntsville; his sister, Jan Bosque and husband Dell of Texas City; his sisters & brother –n-love, Kim & Thadd Wilson of Burleson, Karen Meade of Danbury, Texas, Kendall & KerriAnn Rester of Crawford, Texas, Kristy & Nick Poole of Danbury, Texas; his father –n-love James Rester & wife Donna of Rock Island, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
