Memorial service: 1 p.m. Wednesday at Newark Church of Christ.
Ted was born on January 29, 1938 in Matador, Texas to Clay and Jimmie Hines. He was a self-employed carpenter.
Survivors: Sons, Tracy Hines and wife, Debi of Decatur, Kevin Hines of Dallas, and Ty Hines and wife, Crystal of Fort Worth; daughter, Kim Hines; grandchildren, A.J., Whitney, Bryce, and C.C.; his twin sister, Norma Bryant and his other sister, Shirley Meadows both of Dallas; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
