Sylvia (Killingsworth) Goode

Bridgeport ~ Sylvia Killingsworth Goode, 86, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Thursday , October 15, 2015 in Fort Worth.
Funeral is 10:30 p.m. Monday, October 19, 2015 at First United Methodist Church in Bridgeport with burial in East Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pastor Sam Caldwell will officiate. Pallbearers include Jimmy Meyers, Dan Selz, Gary Green, Chris Tackle, Mike Jones, and Grady Cowling.
Sylvia was born on November 29, 1928 to Sylvester and Mineda (Beard) Killingsworth in Trinity, Texas. She was united in marriage to Robert “Bob” Goode on April 8, 1950 in Houston. Sylvia was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bridgeport.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 57 years, Robert “Bob” Goode.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Robert Goode Jr. and wife Vicki of Fort Worth; her daughter, Susie Monzingo and husband Marc of Fort Worth; her grandchildren, Bobby Goode and wife Darcy, Danny Goode and partner Jason Bacchi, Jennifer Medina and Husband J.P.; her great grandchildren, Quade Goode, and Ben and Alex Medina; her sister, Anita Hoover of Columbus; her nieces, Joanna Cooke and Ruth Vilven, numerous other family members, extended family, and a host of friends.
