Susan Kay Boswell

Susan Kay Boswell, 78, of Decatur went to be with her Lord Saturday, February 21, 2026.

Susan was born November 28, 1947 to James Walter and LaVerne Katherine (Thurman) Brazele in Plainview, Texas. She was united in marriage January 20, 1973 to Roger Dean Boswell in Dallas, Texas. Susan graduated from West Texas State University with a Bachelor Degree in English and minor in Psychology. She was a retired social worker after many years helping others with Medicaid. Susan was a beloved wife, sister, aunt and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and LaVerne Brazele.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 53 years, Roger Boswell of Decatur; her sister, Jennie Nelson of Nocona Hills; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family members and a host of friends.
