Alvord ~ Sue Peterson Vaughn, 69, a retired secretary, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, March 25, 2015 in Alvord.
Memorial service 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 6, 2015 at First United Methodist Church of Alvord.
Sue was born on March 3, 1946 to E.O. and Vera (Stubblefield) Peterson in Roanoke, Texas. She was united in marriage to Marion Ray Vaughn on March 23, 1966 in Denton County. Sue was a retired secretary and account clerk for L3 Vertex.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marion Ray Vaughn; her brother, Aubrey Peterson.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Terri Ivie and husband Robert of Decatur and Stacy Rae Anderson and husband Frank of Alvord; her grandchildren, Josh Oakley, Rachel Anderson, and Aubree Pittman; her sister, Elaine Tiechman of Arlington; her brother, Edwin “Jeep” Peterson of Roanoke; a niece, 4 nephews, and a host of friends.
