Steven Bruce Everhart

Paradise ~ Steven Bruce Everhart, 56, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, August 28, 2019 in Fort Worth.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 1, 2019 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport with burial in Paradise Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Steven was born on September 5, 1962 to Jerrol and Barbara (Cunningham) Everhart in Ness City, Kansas. He was united in marriage to Vonda Dickinson on November 20, 1988 in Paradise. Steven was a member of Cottondale Baptist Church. He proudly served in the United States Army as a Sergeant.

He was preceded in death by his father; his wife, Vonda Dickinson Everhart; and his brother, Jeffery.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Jennifer Bricker and husband Jackie of Mineral Wells, and Nikki Everhart and Ethan Blackwood of Boyd; his son, Aaron Everhart and wife Cheyenne of Paradise; 7 grandchildren, Libby, Landry, Jacklyn, Jadyn, Riley, Phillip, and Caileigh; his mother, Barbara Hettinger and husband Jim of Denton; his brother, Jay Everhart of Denton; other relatives and a host of friends.
