Decatur ~ Steve Newton Rutherford, 61, a golf pro, went to be with our Lord Sunday, October 19, 2014 in Decatur.
Graveside service is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Greenwood Cemetery in Greenwood, Texas. Family will receive friends 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Rev. Ken May will officiate.
Steve was born on November 10, 1952 to Bennie and Marijon (Maxwell) Rutherford in Sweetwater, Texas. Steve was a pro golfer.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Christina Wyatt and husband Chase of Round Rock; his son, Cole Rutherford and wife Chrystal of Granbury; 3 grandchildren, Blaine Rutherford, Addison and Tristan Wyatt; his parents, Bennie and Marijon Rutherford of Decatur; his sister, Denise Joseph of Decatur; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
