Stephen Arthur Millsop

Bridgeport~ Stephen Arthur Millsop, 79, a retired security manager at Seven Clans Casino in Warroad Minnesota, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 in Bridgeport.

Memorial Service will be announced at a later date to honor Stephen.

Stephen was born on May 14, 1944 to Reginald and Virginia (Harker) Millsop in Crosby, Minnesota. He graduated from Crosby Ironton High School and was an outstanding athlete playing football, baseball and wrestling for the Crosby Ironton Rangers. Stephen was united in marriage to the love of his life, Gloria Jean Meeker on June 25, 1967 in Warroad, Minnesota. He and Gloria raised their family and built a life they loved in Warroad, before moving to Texas. He was a member of Union Congregational Church. Stephen was an avid deer hunter and never turned down the chance to play a good card game. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who will be missed greatly by all that knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by parents, Reginald and Virginia Millsop; his son, Jeffrey Millsop; his grandson, Matthew Millsop; and his brothers, Rodger and Greg Millsop.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 56 years, Gloria Millsop; his son, Reginald Millsop; his daughters, Stephenie Millsop, Becky Millsop and husband Mike Booren, and Renee Langton and husband Shawn; 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; his brother, John Millsop and wife Karen; his sister, Kimberly Millsop-Roos; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
