Shirley Lee Wilson

Shirley Lee Wilson, 82, of Boyd went to be with her Lord Thursday, May 7th, 2025.

Graveside Service is 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 12th, at Boyd Cemetery in Boyd, Texas. Family will receive friends Noon - 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd. Juanita Bullard will officiate.

Shirley was born July 31st, 1942 to Alfred Julius and Janie Lee (Odom) Houser in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She was united in marriage August 6th, 1961 to James Harrison Wilson in Newark, Texas. Shirley graduated Boyd High School and was a hairdresser for over 40 years. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend to many who will dearly miss her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Janie Houser; and her husband, James Wilson; infant son Randy Brent Wilson; a sister, Beverly Hobbs, and a brother, Jerry Houser.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Eric Wilson and wife Kelly of Borger, and Robbie Wilson and wife Mary of Boyd; 2 grandchildren, Kamron and wife Katie of Dumas, and Kiley of Austin; 3 great-grandchildren, Blaise, Brooks, and Beau; 2 nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
