Shirley Rae (Hinton) Stone

Decatur ~ Shirley Rae Stone, 85, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord, September 14, 2021 in Decatur, Texas.

Graveside Memorial is 10:00 - 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 20th at Pleasant Grove #1 Cemetery. Family lunch to follow.

Shirley Rae Hinton was born on November 20, 1935 to Pickett and Lectra (Taylor) Hinton  in Fort Thomas, Arizona. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Wade Stone on August 27, 1955 in Globe, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 62 years, Kenneth Wade Stone; and her brother, Joe Hinton.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Brenda Ferguson and husband Rick of Phoenix, Arizona, and Tammy St. John and husband Ray of Ava Missouri; 4 grandchildren, Chris Stelzer and wife Rachel of Phoenix, Kendra Stelzer of Phoenix, Tonya St. John of Phoenix, and Justin St. John and wife Christy of Springfield, Missouri; 1 great-grandchild, Indie St. John; numerous extended family and a host of friends.
